![]() Forward of the step there is a robust keel that is nearly ½”x½” in cross section. The rear bottom is made from a single sheet of aluminum to increase strength and maintain watertight integrity. The installation of the power pack in the float reduces plumbing, therefore reducing weight. The hydraulic system is installed in the left hand float compartment and is arranged similar to the larger 3050A. The 2250A has a double puck braking system that will greatly improve braking power and reduce braking distance. This float features stainless steel swing arms on the main gear and composite leaf springs with shimmy dampeners on the nose. The spreader bar lug of the 2250A is CNC machined from aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection. The basis for design for the PK 2250A was the PK B2300, but many features of the newer amphibious PK 3050A have also been incorporated. 7, 2008 for all model Husky’s including the A-1C 180hp and 200hp model.
